   Fourteen years on Forbes Top 100 Companies to work for is an auspicious honor. I love your products, but more than that, I love that you care about your employees. The rest of corporate America can take a lesson from the Container Store. Bless you!

   I’ve talked to several employees in the past (one just this past week in Edina), who have sung the praises of their company. I am anxious to put my application in to the soon to open Boca Raton in my neighborhood in Florida…yea!! It’s time to work for a retailer that appreciates their associates…Congrats #16!!!

    I’m not surprised one bit. The Container Store is the only store that I can spend time in, and have fun and use my brain planning ways to oganize my life, my home, my work, my family and my friends. I take notes, I ask questions, and I already have an Elfa closet which is better than any my expectations for that closet. I used the design tools and with the help of a few employees, my closet actually functions now instead of being one big mess. The customer service is excellent and the employees are happy. Where can you go and see all the employees happy? I mean they are smiling. So they are being treated well by management, and customers notice. I noticed and I know you’ll be #1 on Fortune’s Best pretty soon.

    I love shopping at the container store! The employees there are always awesome and friendly! I was in the Century City store about a week or so ago, and I was struggling to find the right way to organize, and an employee named Willem was very patient and knowledgeable, and helped me find the right solutions.

    Congratulations! But, to me as a customer it’s not surprise…I never walk in the store that I don’t meet employees who are obviously happy and proud to be there. And, that translates to a great experience for me as a customer. As someone who drove for miles to get to a Container Store until we finally got ours on the Plano/Frisco border, I have watched the company grow. Many times growth creates an atmosphere where employees fell less important. You have obviously done a great job of avoiding that problem! Well done!

    This is easy to believe. I have never had a bad shopping experience at The Container Store. The employees there are always courteous and eager to help — AND competent! There is never a negative vibe in the air. This bears out my philosophy of getting good results from people when they are treated with dignity and respect, and as valuable assets rather than drains on the bottom line. I do most of my shopping online to avoid unpleasant experiences in stores. The Container Store’s location in the Houston Galleria area is at the corner of one of the busiest intersections in Houston — Post Oak @ Westheimer. While I never think of going into the Galleria mall, I will brave the traffic, and even bad weather, for a trip to The Container Store.

    Only one thing wrong with The Container Store – you don’t have one in either New Orleans or Baton Rouge – or anywhere in Louisiana for that matter – so I have to travel to Houston for the closest store. Bummer!

As a new customer (I purchased my first Elfa system last month at the ST Louis store), I was struck by the cooperative, sincerely friendly spirit of all the employees at the brick and mortar store and that of the fantastic on-line designer. Taking care of one’s employees makes for happy customers!

    Amazing, I worked for the Northbrook team for 2 1/2 years and loved every minute. They built the foundation that I have and I will be forever grateful!

    I look forward to seeing all of the continued success that they will bring, as well as the rest of the stores across the country. Truly was one of the best experiences of my life and I’m glad that I was given the opportunity.
