We’ve been reflecting this week on what was probably the most impactful cultural event we’ve experienced here at The Container Store – our 2011 “It’s a New Day” Staff Meeting that focused on the themes of Connection, Communication and Community. We can’t believe it’s already been a year although the themes, the inspiration, the takeaways, the impact is alive in every part of our company and if you ask our employees, in their personal lives as well. The presentations and conversations we heard from world-renowned business and thought leaders, as well as many of our great employees inspired us to develop even deeper connections with our incredible customers, our communities and each other.  We’re a stronger company today because of that meeting. We just had to share the event’s highlight video again.  And be sure to check out some of the other videos on the blog from specific presentations from John Mackey of Whole Foods Market and Bert Jacobs of Life is good and more.  We’ll be posting even more video content and employee comments from our Staff Meeting in the weeks to come.
