We were excited to bring together two of our stakeholders as part of our vendor Kronos’ annual conference that was held this year in our hometown of Dallas.

Recognizing our passion for and commitment to our communities, Kronos asked us to help them incorporate a community project into their first day’s team building activities, which included a bike build! The larger conference group was broken up into smaller teams for a little friendly competition of which team could build two bikes the fastest – very fun and rewarding!

Kronos-Blog-2Community Partners of Dallas was brought in as the beneficiary of the bike build. CPD, one of our longtime nonprofit partners, is dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children by providing resources and support to the caseworkers of Dallas County Child Protective Services. In all, more than 35 bikes were built and donated.

But even better, Kronos surprised us all by also presenting a check to Community Partners of Dallas for $15,000 on the second day of the conference. We were speechless! We love that our vendor was able to make such a huge impact on one of our favorite nonprofit organizations.
