    In 2012, The Container Store experienced the sudden passing of a long-time and much-loved Distribution Center employee, Poncho Martinez, due to a car accident.   • Safety Slogan Contest in Our DC

    Safety is always top-of-mind in our Distribution Center! Each year, we host a fun contest asking all of our Distribution Center employees to come up with a new and catchy safety slogan. This year Justin R. from our Inbound team submitted the 2013 winning slogan: “Safety can’t be neglected, so expect the unexpected!” Justin was announced as the winner at our quarterly Distribution Center all-employee meeting, and his safety slogan was printed on a giant banner that will hang from the ceiling of
