Our recent Service Awards was an incredible evening with more than 130 employees and their guests celebrating 10-, 15-, 20- and 25-year careers with our company. Each year, we fly in all of the honorees and a guest of their choice from across the country for a tour of our home office and distribution center, luncheon and then a special dinner and awards presentation at the Ritz Carlton where they also spend the evening. It’s an event filled with smiles, laughter, lots of hugs and tears. And it’s not unusual to have spouses or children of our employees stand up to share how working for The Container Store has made their wife, their mother, their spouse a better person, a better communicator, happier and fulfilled in life. It’s hard to encapsulate the emotion in the room, but hopefully this video gives you a little look into the evening and our greater than great employees!
