   My one experience working in retail was horrifying enough to change my whole career path. After I complete my undergrad I plan to go to law school and eventually practice in employee or consumer advocacy (I have plenty of time to make up my mind). So many businesses overlook the fact that the lowest paid employees are to most consumers the face of the company.

   I would love to read a more in depth analysis of The Container Store’s admirable business practices. I’m sure you guys have been featured in many business journals. Is there anywhere I could find an archive of resources?

   Tomorrow I’m making the two hour drive to the nearest Container Store to design my Elfa closet. I can’t wait!

   I’m not surprised at all by this finding. My Container Store is in the Galleria area of Houston TX. I’ve shopped there for years, bought a lot of ELFA and other supplies and NEVER saw a less than happy, helpful employee who went out of their way to make sure I got the product I needed for the job I had. Quality products and quality people. A great combination. I really enjoy shopping at Container Store, which I can only say about a few retail establishments.
