   When my surroundings are disorganized I feel stressed. When my environment is neatly organized I feel relaxed and can think much more clearly. Even as a child, I would need to straighten my room before I could concentrate on my homework. Now, as an adult I find that paperwork is the most time-consuming part of my housework. But, if papers are stored away or at least neatly contained my house looks clean, tidy and ‘company-ready’ even before I’ve actually started cleaning. The container stores organizational products are the answer to every homeowner’s prayers.

   More and more people I talk to are only shopping at stores that have a social conscience. They are researching store policies and media stories to see if they are involved in the community,how they treat their employees and customers and if they give back. Nice to see how Container Store is involved.

    It was exciting just to watch it!!! Nothing gives you a great sence of accomplishment then to organize something yourself and to stand back and feel that sence of accomplishment when you are done. The fact that you value your associates to that extent is amazing. Not to mention the amount of time the company gives to training. It makes you want to be apart of it. The only company I can think that would give you the same felling I just felt when I watched your video would have to be Disneylad. Way to go and just keep doing it. Thank you

My personality and passion for getting organized, being organized, and staying organized is reflected in the descriptive words of the opening sequence. The Container Store and all it offers makes the world a better place. Very inspiring which is why I have submitted an application for employment. Great job on the video!

    As a child of Kansas farmers in the 1950′s, I knew my family couldn’t afford to buy products to help us organize. Instead, we used a wooden orange crate as a bedside table and book shelf, grocery boxes for comic book storage, shoe boxes on their sides to create tired spice storage. I think those experiences helped me realize that storage is more than organizing, it is creating a vision. I love the Container Store. I rarely enter knowing exactly what I want. It is the adventure of browsing the shelves and letting each item “speak to me” as I imagine how it will simplify my life. The Container Store is my creativity store, my sense-of-order store, my destination store. Although I have always had to travel hundreds of miles to wander the isles, I always know the experience is well worth the wait.

    I am an artist and crafter and a great part of my success is Containers Store at Northpark in Dallas. When an artist is disorganized, the creative juices stop flowing because all the energy goes into trying to find things instead of creating art. So, all the wonderful bins, boxes, files and miscellaneous holders that I have from Containers are an absolute necessity. The designs make me happy, the colors and textures make me happy, and the prices are reasonable. I have only seen one grumpy sales associate in my 15 years of shopping there. I love Containers Store.     Wonderfully upbeat video! I’m a lil’ ole teacher from DFW and never knew that the Container store had it’s roots in Texas. If I didn’t have a passion for teaching, I would definitely want to work at the Container Store. I feel like the heavens have opened and there’s a chorus of angels every time I walk through the doors. I can always find something at the Container Store to make me rest a little easier in my organized life.

    The Container Store has helped me to be organized, because I recently did over my room. I love organizing, so my mom took me to The Container Store to pick out bins and closet organizers. The colors of my room are purple and lime green, so I bought everything in those colors. Being organized will help me throughout the school year too, because it will help me to be neat. Ever since my visit to The Container Store, I’ve found that I enjoy looking through your catalog and I can’t wait for my next organizing project. Thank you!

The only way to get employees to want to help guest is to hire employees that have passion for what they do! Knowledge and enthusiasm is created by having a strong culture of education and fun!     While I absolutely love The Container Store (it’s like crack for me), I was honestly not impressed with this video – please, no offense. It seems to me like just another video they show at an employee orientation. If that is it’s intention, you nailed it. But if it’s for advertising, it just did not excite me, draw me in, or leave me wanting to find out more. While it’s great to see your happy employees – which is truly a must for me to shop somewhere (grumpy, disgruntled employees show a lack of a company’s character) – if this is for the sake of advertising, it would have been nice to see more of the products, the stores, you know – what can you do for me? type of content. I hope I didn’t tick anyone off with this, just wanted to be honest with you with my opinion. But like I said, I do love your store, and wish there was one around Seattle!!!!

I had the pleasure of working with the most dedicated people in the retail business . TCS values and empowers their employees and in turn the customers benefit. I have taken all I learned from working at THE CONTAINER STORE and utilized it in my current career. The Container Store has enhanced the quality of my life. I am proud to say I was a part of them.

    I love coming to the Container Store because the employees are all so helpful and courteous and because I am able to find just what I need to organize my home and make it more functional. I have always had a problem with organization around my home and since discovering the Container Store, my family room is so much more organized and I am finding more and more things that I can use that are helpful in other areas of my home. Thank you so much for bringing the Container Store to Little Rock, AR. It has become one of my favorite places to shop.

    Watching the video, I saw “proof” of the fact that they are all treated
    so very, very well by the company for which they work.
    I have always loved going into the Container Store – not only because of
    the products and how colorfully and beautifully everything is laid out, but also because of the way that the store representatives ALWAYS treat me. Every single time that I enter your store, I am greeted with a smile by whoever is at the entrance!! They really make you feel like they are happy to see you!!!This video really shows how happy your employees are to work for the Container Store. This is apparent in their wonderful attitudes, the super-willingness to help, and the wonderful service that they provide in all areas. I have even been treated really, really well when I have returned things! Now that I have watched the video, I am assured of what I have always suspected about people who work for the Container Store. They are REALLY HAPPY to be working for you. Keep on treating them the way you do. It is clearly reflected in how they treat us – the customers. THANKS,Wendy

    I have always wanted to visit The Container Store and just never have. Now that I have seen your video and read your Foundation Principles I am determined to visit your store!! I have NEVER EVER found a company that actually does what they say they will. The fact that the Container Store uses the BEST principle of taking care of their employees the best so that the employees take care of the customer is fabulous!!
    I only hope that when I do get to visit the store in Bellevue that I find exactly what you say. I am really looking forward to finding out now!

    I was recently introduced to The Container Store by my husband’s niece who worked at a Chicago area store. I LOVED it!! I really had to think about what we really needed, because there were so many great items. ELFA products were on sale, and we came home with an over-the-door unit. It is so handy and sturdy and frees up our pantry. We even bought a couple close-out video racks to store boxes of jello. The employees were very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience. We went back a couple months later for more great bargains.

    It’s a wonderful (and dangerous) place to shop. It could be listed as addictive. The salespeople are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable – the stores are consistently excellent and it is truly rare not to find what I need.

    Container Store is my favorite store and if I wasn’t already working in a great job, I think I would apply for a job there! I believe in the products. They really do help make sense of all the stuff we have in a home. Organization lends itself to order and order to a feeling that all is well. I know what I have at my disposal and where it is. That’s reassuring in this busy, fast-paced world.

    The employees are available to just the right degree. They actually HELP. They know what’s in the store and what it’s for. They volunteer to carry things to the register and the car if needed. It’s a great experience!
