You may have heard that we’re opening three new stores in Florida – in Tampa, Orlando and Boca Raton! We’ll celebrate each store’s Grand Opening Weekend by donating 10% of that store’s weekend sales to a local nonprofit organization. We have partnered with three incredible organizations in each of these new cities, that are improving their local communities every day!
Our Tampa store opens March 16th and the Junior League of Tampa is our weekend beneficiary. The League reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to volunteerism. With their volunteers, they’re committed to helping break the cycle of poverty for Tampa’s most disadvantaged children and families through child welfare and education.
In Orlando, we’ve partnered with the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies for the Grand Opening Weekend on April 27th and 28th. This hospital is designed to serve the unique healthcare needs of women and babies in a warm and caring, family-centered environment. It’s the only hospital in Central Florida built for women and led by women. They’re home to leading physicians, surgeons and specialists, as well as one of the nation’s largest and most successful neonatal intensive care units.
In Boca Raton, our partner is the Junior League of Boca Raton for the Grand Opening Weekend on June 15th and 16th. Like the Junior League of Tampa, they work with their highly motivated, influential female volunteers to change the community for the better. They work passionately to host signature fundraising events to tackle a wide variety of issues, such as: literacy programs, feeding the hungry, improving the safety and living conditions of children and families, educating children on healthy eating habits and improving the welfare of children in the foster-care system.
If you’re in the area (or know someone who is and want to share!), shop each store’s Grand Opening Weekend so that we can write the biggest check possible!
