Next week we’re holding our annual Service Awards in Dallas – a special event that honors all of our employees marking their 10-, 15-, 20-, and 25-, 30- and 35-years of service with our company.
Nearly 150 honorees and their guest of choice will be flown in from stores all around the country to enjoy a special tour of our Home Office and Distribution Center, a luncheon, and then attend an awards dinner at the Ritz Carlton. At dinner, employees are given the opportunity to share with everyone what their career at The Container Store has meant to them – which always results in lots of laughter, hugs, smiles and tears.

And this year our co-founders – Kip and Garrett – are celebrating their 35th anniversaries with the company, which means that this is an EXTRA special Service Awards event. We may just have a little surprise in store for them – which we’ll be sure to share with you on our blog soon!
