The best thing I love about the container store is that it is made for people like me: the organizers, the innovators, and everything in between. On second thought, I take that back! The best thing I love about the Container Store are their employees; it’s almost as if you recruit such enthusiastic, helpful people! Even when I don’t realize I may be confused about a product, I’ve always been offered help- not only that, they go above and beyond to use their computer system lookup, offer alternatives, or even call/order from other stores.

Being a native Chicagoan, customer service seems to be a dying part of business and I want to thank EVERYONE of you for making my experience more like a vacation for us “organizational freaks”. Its almost as hard to find as it is for me to leave the store ha! I’m going tomorrow anyways so instead of just writing about you guys, I’ll make sure to thank you in person.

I had a great experience yesterday at the Perimeter Center store. I wish I had gotten my cashier’s name, but she was awesome! I recently ordered some items online, but since I’m 250 miles from the closet store, I called the store to get answers to some questions. The person I spoke with was not only very friendly, but also great in clearing up some issues I encountered. A friend was able to pick up my items from the Cherry Creek store in Denver with no problems. Thank you for your great customer service.

I love the store on 1960 in Houston. Every time my husband and I go in there, our needs are ALWAYS met. We went through an Elfa demonstration with John and he was very friendly. The most recent visit was spent with Michele. She was so patient with us and helped us with everything we needed. I love that location!

Thank you for having such caring and compassionate employees. Every time I am in your stores to shop, I continuously see these attributes as they find ways to go way above and beyond the normal employee at any other store.

While I haven’t found an employee that doesn’t show these attributes, I have found that during my experiences at your store near the Galleria in Dallas that Phillip seems to go even further than this. Every time I have been in the store and had his assistance, he has remembered me, asked about my projects I have shared with him and had point on recommendations for other items that might help me in my organizational quest. It just seems like he is always on top of all of the new products you have and showing me new ways in which I can utilize space.

I am continually excited to make a trip to the Container Store and thankful for how they allow me to utilize the space in my house in a new way.

Thanks for taking the time to hire such great employees!!

When I heard about the Container Store I was surprised. Having a Container Store in my area is just very awesome! I’ve been there only twice, and it was full of cute, helpful stuff. The employees treated me well, and helped me look for what I was looking for. When I’m at the store I feel like I’m not wasting time looking for everything I need (no. I always find what I need there!) like in other stores where I find something but not the other thing, and then I have to go to another store. Keep rocking Container Store!

Not having a Container Store near me I’ve only experienced the store online. And I must say that you have been fantastic! Whenever I’ve contacted customer service I get a quick and more than helpful response. Also very polite and friendly. All of the items I’ve ordered have been packed safely and securely and have arrived in exactly the condition I imagine I would have found them in if I’d been at the physical store. Thank you for all of your hard work! You’ve gained a customer for life in me!

The first time I went into The Container Store was in Houston, TX. I fell in love with the store. The best part about the whole experience was the knowledgeable and extremely friendly sales staff. Shopping in a place where the staff is helpful and courteous makes all the different in the world. Every time I go to Houston I always be sure to make a point to stop by The Container Store.

I love The Container Store and its employees! I have such great experiences when I go to the Southlake store in Texas. I am a mom of 4. Your employees help me so much to get me and my children organized. Last may I had a wonderful experience at the store. An employee should me all the ways I can organize for our trip. I bought many traveling products. Know instead of fearing my luggage I love to pack. It is so fun with my new black envelopes. I use them to pack all our clothes and be organized for our trip. After organizing one room in my home; my craving for more gave me an organization obsession! Good Morning Container Store employees!

I recently re-did my entire room and closets. I’d have to say, that you were awesome in helping me find everything that I was looking for. If it weren’t for the Container Store, my bedroom, office, and home office would not be organized. Having everything in order and a place for everything really helps me be more productive in everything I do (not to mention on time since I can easily find what I need).

On Valentine’s Night I came to the Chicago store to pick up my Elfa purchase and despite the fact that none of us were on a hot date, the staff and some customers kept me smiling and to add to it – the young lady who helped me to my car was great even though it was freezing cold outside. I love the staff at the San Francisco store. I’ve moved twice in the last year – and they’ve been so helpful and sweet in helping me find solutions for storage challenges at both new apartments. They’re friendly, warm and unobtrusive. They’ve great ideas and have made some trying times easier for me. Additionally they’re magicians at creating handles and easier ways to carry things when I’m taking transit home with my new shelves… all around awesome staff in SF!

I conferred with Cindy at the Fairview, TX store, and she came up with a brilliant solution that I would never have come up with in all of my wandering around the store. The employees at The Container Store really are top notch. This place has amazing quality and innovative products, but the friendly service really completes the experience. I drive over an hour and a half to visit my local store. The Cherry Hill location is brightly lit, very open and spacious and has plenty of knowledge staff members who’re very helpful and not at all pushy. In an age where consumers focus on warehouse stores and cheaply made products at retail stores where the employees clearly have little training and are unpleasant; I see The Container Store raising the bar and with their customer service, they set an example for competitors. Thanks for doing your job, doing it well, and doing it with a smile!

Whenever I do get a chance to visit about 4x a year your employees are so helpful, they talk about the new products and walk me to the isle where items are. I have to say that I spent a wonderful hour and fifteen minutes on the phone with one of your Elfa phone sales reps named Kristy on January 28th. Kristy works out of your offices in Texas and has such a passion for the product she promotes and sells that I could not wait to pick up my Elfa system we designed together. Kristy is one in a million and her smile comes through the phone lines. When I picked up my Elfa system Freddie at the Paramus, NJ store patiently answered all my questions about constructing my system as well as told me his passion for Elfa. I am now an Elfa groupie myself and you have some wonderful ambassadors in Kristy and Freddie. The love for Elfa continues….

She has this incredible gift of communicating, listening and taking the task to a level as if it is her own. Scene 1: I walked into the Phoenix, Arizona store, a girl smiled at me and took my name. Within 2 minutes, my order was ready for pick up!

Scene 2: I search the aisles, trying to find an exact fit for the DIY present I made for my friend. A girl spotted me and attentively, patiently, happily took me around to help me find the perfect fit.

Scene 3: I see another customer checking out. She immediately smiled at me, she asked me why I shopped there today. I told her about my DIY project and what joy I had shopping at the container store.

Happiness was infectious! She shared her crafting experience, introduced her college aged son, and the various shelving he picked out for his dorm room. She was proud and happy, probably because a Container Store girl just helped them find the perfect fit & made her son an organized boy!

I wanted something to hang that could house my mail and keys that was bamboo or wood….AND BAM! After my three recent trips to The Container Store (yes, in the last 2 weeks!) I have to hand out many kudos to your wonderful employees! They certainly made my “Must Get Organized” project much more bearable. Not only were they always willing to assist me but they gave me the impression that they loved their job!!! Where does one find this attitude today in the customer service department? By the way, I love, love organizing tools, baskets and anything that “moves on wheels”. My house is full of them! But there is always one better for the job to be found at “The Container Store”. Thank you for your fab employees and customer service-you definitely have earned 5 Stars in my book. The Container Store is absolutley one of the greatest stores out there. It is amazing what a little organizing can do. We came in a couple of weeks ago just intending to look aroudn and left with a plan of action for our lost laundry room. The process was seemless and fun. We actually spent more time figuring out what to do with the wall, ie. paint, wallpaper, than we did with the shelving system. We love the turn out, install was a breeze, and we couldn’t be happier. You don’t realize how much were unorganized until you are actually organized. Thanks a ton guys for all your help. I am sure you have a customer for life.

I live in the Nashville area and we just recently got our first Container Store. I went to the store a few weeks to find a solution for my under the counter space in my laundry room. I was extremely impresssed with both the willingness of the employees to help AND their knowledge base of the products. (An unusual combination in retail in this day and time.) The individual that helped me brought up points that I hadn’t thought of and I ended up walking out with two Elfa storage units rather than just one like I originally intended. Went back to the store last week to look for help wiht my pantry – different sales person but the same result – friiendly, knowledgable and presented alternatives that I hadn’t thought of. Hats off to your organization for your success in not only having guiding business principles but having your employees embrace them. That is a feat not accomplished by many businesses.

We have been to other stores but we always return to St. Louis which is 4 hours away so 8 hours round trip for me. We don’t want our food and clothing closet to smell like anything, especially someone else’s perfumes, lotions, colognes, candles, etc. and St. Louis is good about keeping a fresh air store. Many years ago, my first purchase was in Dallas when I was there for allergy testing and it was also a fresh air kind of store. Loved the sales, the staff who put together a sales unit to organize the back of my station wagon for my stuff. That has been in 2 different houses and moved from kitchen, hall closet to toy room to bedrooms. Now have done 12 shelves in a very small pantry and a door unit in a 12 deep by 23 wide pantry, a toy room shelving in a 34 deep by 34 wide

I was in the Northpark store on Saturday 2/11/12 to beat the last minute rush for the end f the Elpha sale. I had the pleasure of working on, designing and being advised by two wonderful women- Amanda & Charlotte! The biggest challenge arose when their awesome designing computer program was running at snail’s pace (bc of some computer issue that may have been the whole strip center as Barnes & Nobles next to them closed their doors when their computers slowed/stopped working). These women dealt with the adversity in such a professional manner, we worked around all the issues and designed 3 complete fairly complicated closets. Then Charlotte input all of the skews and rung up my order by hand. I was very impressed with their ingenuity, creativity, professionalism and overall wonderful service! I can NOT wait to have my new clothes installed the end of this week! Thank you to both Amanda & Charlotte for all of your support and smiles in a tough situation on a busy busy day!!

She was so beyond helpful… easing us into the process with selecting materials and working our way up to the “fun” stuff like shoe racks and gliding baskets! The closet has funny dimensions, but Judy didn’t hesitate to take the bull by the horns and make us outstanding closet — keep in mind, this is the first ELFA experience for my boyfriend and the first closet we’re sharing!! I recently called to design an Elfa Closet. After my first call, I thought I had the design I wanted however, after pondering it a bit realized I wanted to change it up a bit. Needless to say this happened three times! And with each call, your designers were not irritated with me a bit!!!! I do have to say we have two other closets that we purchased from your company that we installed ourselves and they have served us well. Now, back to your employees…the end reason we went with Elfa was the staff at The Container Store. Initially, we thought the pricing was a bit high but were convinced when we visited your Edina, MN store and was so impressed with ALL of the customer service. From the time you walk in until they send you off after packing your car! Professional, sincere, and they all seemed genuinely glad to be at work, working well with each other and serving the customers together. We were also impressed at how much you stand behind your product. We paid the price but really felt like we could trust The Container Store because it felt like the staff was empowered to make decisions and were all on the same page about how they believed what they were selling was a great product. The Container Store employees are among the most informed, helpful, and professional retailers I have ever had the pleasure of being helped by.

I am always impressed at how straightforward and able The Container Store employees are. Then, one time I came across an article written about the lack of employee training that most companies have adopted. This article highlighted The Container Store as a retailer that put their employees through extensive training and you know what…you can tell!

You all are GREAT! Keep up the fantastic work! I shop at The Container Store because you have wonderful products that look so cool on your shelves and…because every time I walk into the store, I know an awesome clerk is going to answer all of my questions, with a smile on their face!

On Feb. 13th, the last day of the Elfa sale I called into customer service to place a order for ...

On Feb. 13th, the last day of the Elfa sale I called into customer service to place a order for my entire closet design. We do not have a Container Store in Beaumont TX, therefore I needed to do this over the phone. I was a little apprehensive thinking over the phone would not work well. However, after taking 3hr and 38 minutes for designing and planning, Tabitha C and I hit the mark on a great design for my closet. She stayed focused and determined to make it perfect, never showing any sign of weariness. You would think being on the phone with a customer for 3hrs and 38 mins you would get tired. I asked her once if she needed a bathroom break and she promptly said “no, I’m fine, thanks for asking” and she carried on with her work. I can’t wait to see the final results. Tabitha C. is a very dedicated employee to your organization and I hope you recognize that, you are lucky to have her in your employ! I hope I can send her a picture after we finish. The Container Store employees rock! Whenever I go in there asking about a thingy or a whacha ma callit that organizes this and that they are always so helpful, patient and kind. They never stare or roll their eyes at me or any of the other customers who don’t know the product names or codes. It really is refreshing and very much appreicated. I envision that all employees that work for the organization must take an organizing test, which means I’d never work there but I am so glad that they are there to help all the clutter-bugs like myself find my desk. I love the Employees at The Container Store in EDINA. I am newer to the store (November 2011, was when i discovered it, as I got my 1st home.) Every time I go into that store I am greeted with great smiles and hellos. They help me with all my organization needs by showing me products, telling me their likes/inputs to better solve my organization issues, and give me the best customer service until I am not longer in need of them.

Customer Service is awesome as the Container store. I hate going to a store and another customer takes the employee away from me, so I have to go find another to solve my problems. At Edina Container, they just page each other, so I can continue to work with the same employee and they get their own:) Also, all employees seem to know everything, so they don’t have to hunt another one down to answer your questions(a big plus). Because of these perks, I have organized by entry coat closet (elfa style), my tv system, my classroom, and this is just the beginning.

So in conclusion, I LOVE MY EMPLOYEES @ THE EDINA CONTAINER STORE- Love a freguent, but newer customer.

Leigh Ann in your Atlanta store has helped me the last 3 weekends with 3 different rooms. She exudes your values and is an energetic, smart, can-do employee. The 2nd return trip I had an appt and felt a little embarrased to turn down other willing employees. On the 3rd visit I was proud to say I specifically needed her expert consultation and advice and her colleagues responded “oh we love her too, every customer does.”. The Container Store employees in the Dallas, Texas. North Park location are ALL rock stars! Quite a few have helped and advised me with storage and organization solutions for my new 278 1/2 square foot apartment (during my many recent shopping trips). Great “out of the box” ideas have even given me more bang for my buck. The quality of The Container Store starts with the employees. It takes a village to create sustainable success, and what a fabulous village the North Park store is! You have earned my loyalty and trust!

Our whole family loves the Container Store especially the Cincinnati, Ohio location! They are so helpful, but also so patient. They will give you suggestions and plans, but they will also wait for you to think about your project and whether you like it, love it, or just don’t get it! That is why our daughter and son-in-law, his mom, my husband, and I keep coming back and back and back! We used to drive to Columbus (love you too!), but the Cincinnati store just calls to us! You won’t find better customer service than what you find at TCS. Employees are genuine, knowledgeable, professional and always great at listening to your needs. I’ve never had a bad experience. I drive the extra 20 minutes to get to TCS because I know their products are durable and top-notch compared their “try- to-be” competitors. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store and the organization but most impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I was asked probably at least three times if they could help me find something. And the lady that checked me out was VERY friendly. She even helped me get my purse unfastened from the child strap which I had used. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the store. Will be back soon.

The Indianapolis store has not disappointed me in any way. One of the designers reviewed my design and made some suggestions which would add more space and functionality. The employees at the store have even supportive & patient. They are wonderful.

How AWESOME the Container Store Employees in Nashville @ Green Hills Mall are!!!!! They helped me build an Elfa Closet System piece by piece, according to my clothing and accessory inventory. I explained to them that I wanted to put a closet system together according to the clothing pieces I wear the most, whether it’s sweater’s, pants or jewelry. They have what’s needed to organize. They helped me get the right racks, baskets and trays that fit right on to the easy mounted frame. I Love The Container Store, Happy Valentines Day!

I talked to Kendra at the Raleigh, NC about a design for my master closet. I was from out of town and was in a hurry. She asked some questions about what I used that worked, what types of clothes and accessories I had, and what I needed, making gentle suggestions along the way. I left the store and by the end of the day I had an email from her with a plan for my master closet. With only one slight change I bought the closet and have been enjoying it ever since. Where but here can we shmooze and laugh as we learn to make our old house, like a bird, soar? They treat us like family, or better yet, friends. With workers like these, the joy never ends! We can’t wait to return to the store that has more–more stuff, more fun and bargains galore. Bellevue Container Store Folks have been awesome. I took advantage of the Elfa sale and re-did two closets in two weeks. The staff was wonderful throughout the process. This includes everyone.

The designers patiently helped design the layout, and showed how to install.
To: the friendly cashier.
Online orders – went through without a hitch. Order always available ahead of time
Will Call Folks new there was voicemail which indicates I might consider more parts (which I had). But, they asked if I got the message.
They were very helpful loading the car.
I even left working designs at the cash register. I called and they were able to email the info that they had on file.
Then to my surprise, the actual paperwork left behind arrived to me in the mail.

The whole store was top notch, end to end. AND, during a time when they were having a big sale. WELL DONE EVERYONE

I love all the ways I can bring organization to my 1930 house, especially in the closets with Elfa, but also with really great ways to keep my kids’ playroom looking cute despite the growing collection of toys/games. The Container Store helps so much with organizing laundry as well! I really enjoy all the ways it helps me organize my home. I always shop at Dallas NorthPark Store, and everyone is so friendly!

I shop regularly at the ChestnutHill, MA location and I love that store. First, they allow my small dog to accompany me and he’s become a bit of a celeb – ask anyone about Snoop Doggy Dogg. But more to the point, whether I shop on line and pick up in store or just shop in the store we are alwayas greeted with familiarity, helped anytime I ask and checkout is fast and reliable. The managers (and staff) go above and beyond what is considered typical customer service (passive at best) and really *help* this customer to accomplish her goals. I also want to put a plug in for on line cusotmer service and in particular the 1-800- customer service which provides examplery (sp) customer service every time, all the time. Love Container (and they love seeing me come in, tho I may be high maintencd, i spend a lot of money in there lol)

I just wanted to sing the praises of the employees at the Southlake, TX store! My girlfriends and I were in there last month for probably two hours shopping and they were so nice and helpful! Because we were there for so long, we met practically all of them. They helped us with our shopping needs and made us feel like we were the only ones in the store! Their hospitality and service was outstanding! We all commented that we would make the five hour drive from our homes in Tulsa, OK to Southlake anytime for service like that!! Great job!!!

Container Store you have the best store and the best employees!!! My husband is in the Navy and we have to move, a LOT! Without all of your fantastic organizational supplies and the expert advise you have to offer when I am in your store this nomadic lifestyle would be so much harder! We have a son with special needs, and organization is key with him, so being able to find just about anything, or ‘trouble shoot’ with your employees in stores is such a blessing! In fact, right now we live in Virginia Beach, VA and I drive over 3 HOURS to the Tyson’s corner, VA store just to get what I need sometimes. You are always worth the drive!

My husband and I put off buying our elfa shelving for over a year after we moved into our new apartment, partially because we thought it would just be too much of a hassle to communicate what we needed, set up an installation date etc. We finally bit the bullet during this year’s elfa sale, and were AMAZED at how easy the whole process was! The Container Store team member that helped us design our unit was great, and even better, had us in and out of the store within 15 minutes, despite it being a very packed Saturday. Delivery and installation dates were very easy to set up (unlike at IKEA, for instance!). AND, to top it off, I decided about a week after our purchase that I wanted to add a file cart to the order, and called to ask if it could be added to our currently scheduled delivery date, thinking there was no way that would be possible over the phone. But, again, after barely a five minute phone call, the new item was added to my existing order. Overall, it’s hands down some of the best, most efficient, and most pleasant customer service I’ve received in quite some time, so kudos and thanks to the Container Store team!

While helping decorate my sons’ new house, I visited the Southlake Town Center store a hundred times. I bought items, took them back, bought different items, took them back, etc. until we ended up with just the right items to decorate their first place. I seldom had the same salesperson on my many visits. I noticed that every one of them knew where every item in the store was located, they each offered great suggestions, and they were never frustrated with my returns and staring over – again and again. There is a definite personality trait that is common to all of them – kindness. They were each terrific and have made me a Container Store customer and cheer leader for life. Thanks for reminding us what quality customer service is all about.

Love, love love to the amazing Container Store Team! I have to admit that I do have a favorite – RAY at the Century City Store. No matter how long I take looking at items or how many items he has to get out of the back, he is always friendly and kind.

One time I was exhausted and left my wallet on the counter in the store at the check out. I was frantic all night long trying to figure out where my wallet was. The next morning I called and found out that they did have my wallet. When I retrieved it at the store, it had everything still inside, including almost $200.00 in cash! Wow – Container Store Team members are honest too!!

We were in the process of moving from Austin TX to Rockville MD. While I was in temp. housing, working there and waiting for my husband to join me, I scouted things at the Container Store in Rockville that we would need for our new home. Of course I couldn’t resist purchasing some things to make my hotel stay a bit more organized, and the person checking me out cheerfully remarked that it was good to see me again. I thanked him, and told him that I had only been there a week and that this was my first visit to the store. He shook his head, now doubting his own memory, and said that he was sure he remembered me. Well, it turns out that he had been the assistant mgr. of the Austin store where I shopped regularly, and had been transfered to Rockville to open the new store there. We had a good laugh after we figured it out, but my husband wasn’t laughing when I phoned him that evening – he was a bit worried that store employees in Maryland already recognized me!

Ok, bad pun aside, you guys have restored my faith in customer service, and that’s no small thing! I have never once in all the times I’ve shopped at your stores (any one of them) experienced anything but energy, enthusiasm, and a “can-do” attitude. A few years ago during the Christmas Shopping Season, there was a power outage in the downtown San Francisco Area on a Saturday night. The following Sunday morning, the power had still not returned but The Container Store was still open for business. Cheery employees were wearing headlights around the store to aid in visibility (it wasn’t completely dark). It was a great example of doing the best with the current circumstances. I’ve experienced this friendly attitude with every employee each time I shop in the Container Store. I LOVE Your corp. culture!!! Thank you and Happy Valentine’s Day. CA

Really gotta LOVE The Container Store. We happen to shop the Park Meadows Mall, CO location this time, but we have been to many from East to West. The employees are always GREAT! Polite, Knowledgeable, and Considerate or our needs and wants, while filling that certain area. Employees at the store in Tyson’s Corners, VA are absolutely the best! The most helpful, considerate, friendly, knowledgeable and anxious to help! It makes the chaotic task of completly reorganizing a troublesome kitchen (small, i.e., very difficult to maximize) joyful and fun! Can that possibly be? Elfa now reigns supreme in my kitchen and pantry, and all the other little goodies that these wonderful employees recommended remedied my angst. I can only say, it really does pay to reorganize space with the help of my new best friends – the wonderful, professional employees of The Container Store! Don’t be shy folks, come to them and get your pesky spaces all fresh, organized and efficient.

There are very few stores that make shopping this enjoyable, and the employees are the #1 reason why the Container Store is so successful. Keep up the good work!

I LOVE this store and aside from the products, the employees make the experience awesome. I am a professional organizer, so I bring clients in with me to outfit an entire home and/or office. When I arrive with my several page list, I need to make sure that we can get in and out of the store with all our items as quickly as possible. From the store in Chicago to the ones in California, I am greeted and assisted by employees. Each time without fail, an employee is there ready to brainstorm a product to fill a need (often re-purposing a product) or steer me in the right direction for what I am seeking. And since I go with a long list, they provide empty baskets ready for me to fill and take the full ones to the counter until I am done and ready to check-out. I love how The Container Store a great place to work. It shows in the attitude of all who work there. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

I work in customer service so sometimes I feel I am being too “PICKY”, but when I deal with The Container Store, whether it is online, on the phone, at their “Main Offices”, or at either store in NYC, I always, always get the BEST customer service. Nice, friendly, helpful, respectful, courteous, fun, happy people! I recommend The Container Store to everyone I speak too!!! And I tell people, your products are fabulous, but the customer service is outstanding!!!

I am a quilter. I have been going to The Container store since they opened on Forest and Preston in the 70′s. Whenever I have a storage issue Container Store has a remedy. My husband says I have more Container Store items in my sewing room than the store. All my shelving and drawers were purchased when Elfa goes on sale. When we had to move to Minnesota and new Mexico every time we came back to visit my first stop would be the Container Store. I was always asking when every I would check out if they opening in either state. They never did so I had to move back to Texas to be by the store (and my grandsons)!

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE The Container Store!!!!!!!!! Whenever I come in the employees ask what I am using my purchase for and have actually found me items that would be a better fit with my problem. Even helped me this Christmas spruce up my home made Carmels with the waxed paper you all carry. I never would have found that on my own.

I want to share my love today for Marta J, the world’s best employee in your downtown San Francisco store. While we share family love (she is also my aunt) we also share a passion for The Container Store. With her enthusiasm and good counsel, I have not only “elfa’d” my entire house (I’d use elfa in my car if I could), but I am a faithful customer in the Rockville, Maryland store and share The Container Store gospel with everyone I meet.

My experience with The Container Store is all the more enjoyable when I hear how much Marta loves her job (at 70, she cheerfully unloads the trucks and adores all her co-workers) and feels great about the products she sells and shares. You have helped me so much over the last few years. Thanks to you I have shelves and 16 drawers in my garage, I have shelves and 32 drawers in my sewing room closet. I have a complete closet set up in my master bedroom closet with 10 drawers. I also have elfa shelving in a two closets — one to store photos and an additional storage closet. I have shelves on two walls of my sewing room and a long wall full of shelves in my extra bedroom. Without your help, Freda, I would not have the wonderful drawers and shelves I need. Just wanted to comment on your Frisco, Texas store (okay, Plano, Texas but we consider it Frisco). The employees there are awesome! Always ready to help. We’ve purchased several Elfa systems there in the past couple of years. The one person we go back to time and time again is DON in the Elfa department. I think he’s been there nearly 20 years. He knows his stuff and is excellent at helping customers figure out what they need.

Don’t get me wrong–ALL the employees are helpful and very nice. We love going to that store.

Your employees are the BEST! While one employee was drawing plans for a closet I was wondering around the store looking for just the right thing to fill 20″ of extra space in my new pantry. Another employee showed me the melamine top intended for a cart with drawers, and shelf clips back in the back of the store. Together I gained another 5 shelves in my pantry totalling an extra 100″ of storage…. where the space was too tight for 2″ shelves! Plus the melamine shelf works perfectly for cookbooks… much better than the wire shelves. Your store has so much neat stuff and your employees really help put it all together to make the most of every space in my house!

The staff at the Chestnut Hill Store (in Mass) are the best! The most helpful, friendly people I have ever dealt with as a customer! If you ask anyone of them where to find something, they can tell you what isle, what side of that isle the item is on and what end of the isle you will find it.

Very impressive!

I love that place, in fact we drive from Tucson ( 2 hours) just to go there!
Now the only other thing I’d drive that far are my Grandkids and the Arizona Diamondbacks!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful store, the staff is truly amazing, full of ideas, and way beyond helpful. Love you guys and gals.

I love all of the employees at my Container Store at the intersection of 281 and 410 in San Antonio, Texas. They are all so friendly and knowledgable no matter what department they are in. So glad for this opportunity to say thank you to all the great employees at The Container Store in Southpark, Charlotte, NC. Trust me, I never need help spending money in this store, but every time I go in, I always have fun conversations with the employees and they always have great suggestions and helpful advice. I recently bought a bookshelf system there but needed to “visit” it several times before I bought it, and each time I was there, one of the employees would help me with any questions I had, and I never once felt pressured into buying something when I wasn’t quite ready. Overall, I always tell people I love the store, not just for the really cool stuff, but because the customer service is the best. So great job Southpark employees!!! Thanks for all you do!

My heart belongs to a man whose name I do not know, but he knows me by my car and my shopping habits at The Container Store. He saved my Christmas this year by carting loads of gifts, stocking stuffers, gift wrap and tape from the store to a designated place in the Austin Container Store’s parking lot every time I called from my cell phone.
Two back surgeries earlier in the year had disabled me from participation in the holiday rush and tumble shopping marathon between Thanksgiving and Christmas…I was afraid I’d be labeled as Scrooge this year, but an article in the newspaper identified The Container Store as one pioneering a new service known as ‘Click & Carry’. Shopping online, paying and having your selections bagged and waiting for youbwas done in advance. A phone call alerting the store you were on your way, then a call once there, signaled my December Love to bring Christmas to my car. Bless you, my nameless friend.

My wonderful experience with a Container Store employee was very short but should definitely get honorable mention. I ordered and paid a few small items online at containerstore.com and wanted to do a pick-up at the Fashion Valley Mall (San Diego) store location. Now, this is during the crazy last minute Christmas shopping time and parking was non-existent (it took forever just to get through the parking area!). I soon regretted ordering it because it was just a few small items that I really didn’t need to get before the holidays. Suddenly, I remembered looking at my printed confirmation and it said they can do a curbside pickup so I gave them a call. I told them that I’m in the parking lot but if someone could meet me outside so I can pick up my items. When I got pass all the congested parking traffic and was in front of the store, I see a Container Store employee patiently standing outside the store but constantly scoping the parking area to try to find me. I waved at her and she came to my car window. I was very thankful that I didn’t have to go find parking. It was the quickest transaction I ever had (to get in and out of the mall took longer)! Thank you, Container Store, for all your wonderful attentive employees ESPECIALLY during the crazy shopping seasons.

The atmosphere at the container store is always warm and inviting, which is extremely impressive for a store that sells storage devices! Immediately I feel like I would love my home to look more like this organized utopia, and the idea of decorating one’s home with thoughtful categorization, instead of more stuff, is very attractive. With the truly massive inventory, sometimes it is difficult to know where to go to find just the right thing to fit your needs. The employees that I have personally worked with always seem very thoughtful in suggesting a variety of solutions and are very knowledgeable. Happy Valentine’s Day, and thanks for all that you do!

The staff always welcomes me as I enter the doors. Then they ask how they can help me find what I need and search out what I am needing just as though it is what they are looking for too. I just really enjoy shopping at The Container Store!

Everytime we have come to your store (Edina, MN) we have so impressed by the great customer service we have received. Everyone is always so helpful, informed, and happy! Our Elfa project was easy and simple because of the great help and sugguestions we received. Even though we could have done our project could have been done a little less expensive through another system we were looking at at the same time we decided to go with the Elfa because of the great help and service we received. Thanks so much and keep up the great work!

I frequent the Chestnut Hill store in Massachusetts . The staff is always lovely there. I recently attended an ELFA demonstration done by Sue. It was easy to see how much she loved the prodyct and she said so. You can tell that the Container Store treats their staff really well because each person is happy to be there and happy to help.

Last week I had an outstanding experience with Judy in the Edina, MN store! She provided wonderful service, which is more the normal than the exception at Container Store. Terrific employees are all too often lost in retail – thank you, Container Store, for making employees a priority! I hope it serves as a reminder to other retailers about how important the employee experience is to the customer experience.

Gotta give kuddos to the staff at your new Indianapolis area Container Store. They are amazing! Nikki, Annette and Scott were all tremendously helpful with my checkout and Elfa purchases. They helped me find all the parts for my Elfa storage projects that are FINALLY getting my home office in order! Today was super busy after the end of the Elfa sale…just looking around at the teams working together to rollout the next sale (Office Organization, I think)….it was like watching a well-oiled machine. Even though the staff was busy restocking throughout the store, they were never too busy to stop what they were doing to help customers. It’s clear customer satisfaction is the priority here, which is why I love shopping at The Container Store!
