Our new store in The Woodlands is excited to be a part of this thriving community and recently partnered with the Junior League of North Harris and Montgomery Counties for a community project to help St. Luke’s of The Woodlands Hospital.

A member of the League and also a new employee at The Container Store, I just knew we could improve the “Sunshine Closet,” a toy storage area within St. Luke’s Pediatric Unit. The closet is a converted hospital room used to store toys, donated clothes, items for the children’s parents, and also serves as a volunteer work station. They were in desperate need of shelving to help organize the space, make it user-friendly, as well as hospital-code compliant and safe, so what better product to donate than our elfa Shelving! It was incredible working on the space with many of my colleagues and our community partners and were all thrilled with the end result; a fresh, organized space with ample storage for all those stuffed animals, toys, crafts, clothes and supplies!
