“Just received AWESOME service yesterday from the Champions store in Spring, TX!!! The people that work there have so many ideas and so much knowledge of the different things in stock. “Well, I want to make a direct comparison between 2 different service/ customer service experiences. In one weekend I ordered 2 complicated multi-piece items from “Retailer X” and Container Store… and had 2 completely different experiences. “Retailer X” failed at everything and it took 2 weeks to remedy it and it is still not right. The Container store came 5 minutes early to their 3 hour window and put together their piece with only a minor hitch in which they remedied immediately. Their service/customer service was excellent. “Retailer X” can learn a lot from The Container Store.”

I’m sorry that I am late with this. I wanted to express appreciation to Eva for her conscientiousness and patience, making sure that our order was correct.
Since we are in the middle of moving, I was pretty tensed up, and Eva stayed smooth and calm and professional.
Michelle was another outstanding customer service rep. She’s sharp, and very helpful.
I ended up working more with Eva, but you have two terrific employees.

Every time I shop at TCS, the employees seem like they enjoy being at work. You can feel that positive energy in the air when you walk in the store. But my favorite experience at the store is most definitely working together with one of your employees to build an elfa closet solution.

I went several times while organizing a trip I was taking, and several different employees helped me with with the travel-organizers that you sell. The Container Store really went out of their way to help me. I was looking for a glass water pitcher, and wanted something that would fit in my refrigerator door. Honestly, I was having a difficult time, and was wondering if anybody even made what I was looking for. The employee that helped me went above and beyond, even helping me measure so I’d be sure the pitcher would fit. She was wonderful, helpful, and generous with her time, and typical of the type of service I expect from The Container Store!

I recently found the coolest shelf unit at the Century City store that I wanted for a client of mine. The dilemma was, I was to go to that client in 2 hours and did not want the job of assembling it. The sales person allowed me to purchase the floor sample and told me that he himself would go in back and build another one so they could replace the one on the floor. He then loaded it into my car and off I went to the client. She happened to be thrilled with the unit and all was great!

My first experience with The Container Store was mind blowing when it came to customer service. I was living in a small town and looking for recycling solutions; after not finding what I needed locally, I got on the internet and stumbled across The Container Store. I ordered the containers for the recycle bins, but also ordered some under the bed storage that was meant for sweaters; however, I wanted a very inexpensive way to use them for storing gift wrap in a tight place. The items I ordered for the recycle bins were absolutely perfect, beyond my expectations; I am still using them seven years later. However, the under the bed storage was a different matter. They were meant for actual sweater storage, and not the weight of gift wrap I soon found out lifting them, with the weight of the wrap in them. I called the 1-800 number and asked if there was a way I could return the unused ones, they weren’t going to fit my needs, because the first one broke upon lifting it. I was asking if I could get a shipping label to return the other ones. The person on the other end of the phone told me that I didn’t need to return them; and that they would credit my account, and I could pick something else out for purchase if I liked. WOW, I had to find out what this Container Store was all about; the closest one was 300 miles away, and it wasn’t until we moved to Atlanta that I got my first experience in an actual Container Store. All of the people on my many visits there have been absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly. The merchandise is exceptional in looks and quality and value. I can’t stop talking to my friends and those I meet about how wonderful this company is. Many are now waiting for The Container Store to come to a local area near them; and to think it all started out that one afternoon with a 1-800 phone call about what could have been a disappointment. Thank you Container Store; keep up the great work!

I went to N”Y”C” in March 2011 to visit a freind and we went to a demo at the container store downtown.Because summer was comming and the employees were demostrating luggage sets and spacesavers to use for when your packing your clothes.I was truly amazed how they were so kind and always smiling.They took the time to ansewer our questions Each item was described and its use and how we could save money and space when travelling abroad.THEY HAD ME SPENDIND IN THE STORE THAT DAY,COULD NOT RESIST.I bought a piece of LUGGAGE,A BAG FOR SHOES,a large CHEST and a MEDIAN one for storage,SPACE BAGS,PLUS OTHER SMALL ACCESORIES.My friend won the $25.00 GIFT CERTIFICATE.Boy was she happy.So the next time I go to Newyork I will not forget to go to the container sore again.

We just recently moved into a new home and coincidentally, The Container Store in Charlotte, NC had its grand opening that weekend. We were in and out quite often trying to design an elfa system for our new walk-in closet. The staff at The Container Store was amazing, on all of our trips bank and forth about the same thing. They were kind and patient; they didn’t ignore my little girl, but instead made her feel like her input was just as important (she’s only three). Every step of the way, they assisted us in the design and layout, giving us suggestions, and making our dream closet become a reality. Some people may think it’s just a closet; what’s the big deal? But The Container Store staff knew that it was going to be MY closet, and it was going to be the one place in this new house that would be organized. Haha. After we were done, my husband was astounded and remarked, “Goodness, those container people are so happy all the time!” I love The Container Store; thank you so much for giving us one in Charlotte, NC! Thank your staff for us; they made our experience wonderful and we don’t ever hesitate to come back for home solutions!

When I lived in Miami I was in the store at least once a month. David and his staff have helped me with Elfa-ing my closets, getting me the right hooks for my garage stuff and suggested the PERFECT bottles for our homemade Tangellocello! Now that I moved north I have to limit my store visits to whenever I visit Miami for the past 6 years. Please please PLEASE put a store in Pittsburgh!! I ordered an Elfa shelving set a few weeks ago. The online ordering service had a few issues, but the person I spoke with on the phone was wonderful! She set me up with everything I needed, including custom cut pieces. Also, I needed the order to be ready the next morning (less than 24 hours later) and it wasn’t a problem! I had another family member pick up the order for me, and they had no issue – the staff even loaded it in her car for her! I will definitely be ordering another Elfa set to finish off my laundry room shelving!

Paramus, NJ has by far the best customer service. I purchase a shelving unit, and I couldn’t figure out how to put it on the wall, I went back to the CS 1 MONTH later and the sales associate offered to come to my home to set it up for me. (I declined, I’m not crazy.) But it was wonderful, then he explained exactly how to place it on the wall.

Tops in customer service doesn’t even begin to descibe the employees at your Natick store. I had been to closer “box” stores to get materials to get organized but didn’t find anything that would work for me. I drove the few extra mile to the container store and it was totally owrth it. Employees were available with the right amount of assistance that allowed me to find what I needed to get organized. I was in and out pretty quick and more importantly I was helped by friendly people that I feel I can back to if I need anything else!

I couldn’t pick my favorite employee, but the two that are just the best of the best are David and Susan at the Galleria store in Dallas. Susan is knowledgeable, professional and always has a smile on her face. She has only helped me by checking me out, but she is what I think about when I consider an employee from Container Store. David is…just David. He is so willing to help in any way…whether it is to help find an item or carry something to the car or just make your day by smiling. He is willing to see if something actually works by taking it out of the package and trying it. This happened last Christmas. These two people are wonderful and continue to make my decision to buy at this location.

I just moved to an area with a Container Store (Philadelphia) and had a great experience getting things for my new apartment. I showed up at the store with a wishlist printed from the website, and the salesperson who helped me was able to take me directly to every item I needed. He really knew his inventory well, and everyone was friendly.

I went in to TCS Southlake with a long list and a short amount of time. Your wonderful employee took my list and led me to the section where I needed to make the choices on products. She took the rest of my list and met me back with a full cart and checked off list. THAT is customer service.

So, my husband came home one evening and said that he had ordered different things (storage units) from several different container stores in our area. It was all work related. He asked me if I wanted to go with him on a container store marathon! I was like, what the heck! While my husband was busy getting things together with a salesperson at the Galleria store, I looked around. The lady that was working also, but not with my husband, was sooo nice. Even though, I didn’t need help, she kept me occupied by just being friendly. We could have been best friends!:)

I walked into your Chicago store with an organizing client and a 5 page list. While I know your store and inventory very well, I so appreciated the staff coming and checking to see if I needed any direction on where to find something. I also loved that when a basket was full they would come around a corner and bring me a new one, then take the full one to the register area and keep it waiting for us. We got through the entire shopping spree in about two hours – and three baskets full of supplies later! I love how all the staff seem to LOVE their work – and I always pick up a new use for an item when I shop there. It is my favorite store to recommend to my clients.

Every experience I have had at The Container Store has been really great! My last experience was nice because, well, I had kind of a hectic day and two boys (4 and 2) that were not too happy about going to any store. I was thankful that I was able to find exactly what I needed and that two extra registers opened up while I was in line. It wasn’t anything crazy usual except that it is crazy usual–my cashier was friendly and really helpful. It was good customer service at it’s finest, the transaction was smooth and I was able to get in and out with ease. Very much appreciated.

Both of your Atlanta locations are excellent, but I most commonly shop at the Perimeter store. I recently returned an item I had purchased as a gift, and received, prompt, courteous, service, no questions asked. I have encountered very friendly employees there. The atmosphere is always very friendly and upbeat. I have purchased many products. My favorite recent purchase is the grid with baskets. My daughter uses it to store her art supplies and sketch pads. It’s perfect.

I do not have a Container Store in my area but the last time I was in the Austin, Texas store I shopped and stocked up! I took my 13 year old son with me to shop and he was just thrilled to be there. (Insert SARCASM here.) He decided to have fun with one of the employees and ask the man where he could find body bags. The employee was fantastic because he led him to some large garment bags and asked him if those would work, all the while keeping a straight face.
I laughed so hard, the moment was priceless! This employee was not only helpful but witty to boot!
After leaving, my son decided the experience wasn’t a total loss as he had gotten a good laugh from the employee as well.

I became a HUGE fan of The Container Store when my mother and I went in to browse the closet storage selection at your Bridgeport Village store. We were fairly sure we were going to go with one of the many other closet storage manufactures, but after browsing a few minutes and having one of your employees walk us through the process of building an elfa storage system, we abandoned all other thoughts and purchased all of our closet hopes and dreams right then and there. It’s nice to know you have affordable options and knowledgeable employees on hand all of the time, even on a busy Saturday afternoon. We’ve since purchased more elfa storage solutions and recommended you to many friends. Now that I’ve found The Container Store, I’ll never roam a big box store trying to figure out dimensions and installation on my own again!

The Container Store in San Antonio near the Northstar Mall is fabulous! Always has staff on the floor looking for people to help. After wandering in other stores and not finding any sales people on the floor and walking out, I appreciate the service given to customers. It will keep me going back there!

This past January i FINALLY convinced my husband to let me get an Elfa system for our sons closet (since we were about to add a newborn baby to his room!). He himmed and hawed but was impressed with the service..as we were leaving the store he said “well, we’ll see if it’s worth it”…two weeks later HE was planning out where we’re putting our next Elfa system. In his own words “Great service…great quality…totally worth the money”. Coming from MY husband this is seriously the BEST COMPLIMENT ever!!!

Last week I placed and order online, and I immediately received confirmation of the order. I just called today to see when it was shipping. I called the phone number in the email (easy to find – didn’t have to hunt for it), hit 0, and VERY quickly, I was talking with a real live person. She looked up my order and confirmed it’s shipping today and should arrive by the end of the week. She also let me know a tracking # will be emailed to me today as well (when it ships). It was quick and easy! I’ve had many great experiences in your stores (multiple states), but having a great online experience just confirmed what I already knew: that The Container Store is a GREAT place to shop!! I will definitely be back, either in-store or in cyber-space. Either way, I know I’m in good hands! : )

Hopped into the South Coast store yesterday. I knew what I wanted but still like to look when I go in so I didn’t bother to pre-order on-line. Of course I purchased way more than I should have but it’s a win win for both of us. I was with three kids (under 6) and pulling two carts. I love the pick-up parking area. I was able to get my kids back in the car, drove to have my stuff picked-up, packed in the back of my SUV and on my way to a birthday party. Now that’s what I call customer service.

As someone who has not yet shopped at the Container Store and is eagerly awaiting the opening of the store in Indianapolis next month, I can only go by the service that I got online when I asked for a catalog to be mailed to me. The person I dealt with was brilliant, very helpful and got the catalog out to me really quickly. They told me they hoped I had a good visit to the Indy store when it opened and I am sure I will! I am ever so slightly OCD with my belongings to your store may become my new favorite destination downtown!

Without fail I am greeted and asked if I need any help every time I walk into my local Container Store on FM 1960 and Champions Forest in North Houston. Yeah, on the surface there are cheaper options for storage solutions, but the value in any Container Store product is the service, from designing storage solutions to installation if you need it; the level of service is customized to the customer. Because I am treated like a person by people who care, I will go to the Container Store every time!

I have multiple good service stories about the Container Store but my favorite has to be the day I was shopping and as I was checking out my purchases it began to rain really heavily at your Allen/Fairview store (awhile back since we haven’t had much rain recently.)

I didn’t have an umbrella but your employee working the register offered to get an umbrella and walk me to my car – I was parked right out front. At first, I said oh no…then she encouraged me and I let her – what a simple act of kindness that made a huge impact.

I recently placed my first order on containerstore.com. I was excited to finally get my kitchen organized, and most excited about having a bread box to hide all of the clutter on my countertop. I anxiously awaited shipment! When it arrived, it was very scratched and dented on the sides. I was quite disappointed, and thought maybe I wouldn’t order online from containerstore again. I dread having to call any customer service number and be placed on hold for a long time, and then have to return the item, and repackage everything, wait awhile for a replacement. I called, and surprisingly, I did not have to wait long at all, or give a long winded explanation, or send photos of the damage as some other companies require. She simply apologized, asked for the item number, told me to keep the damaged one, and she would be happy to send me a new breadbox. It arrived at my doorstep within just a few days! I was very happy with that solution, and my faith in ordering online restored. I will say that going to the store is also very worth it, even though my closest location is just over 75 miles away! The employees at the Raleigh, NC location area great, very helpful, and always running contests! If I lived closer, I’d be there weekly!

I can not say enough about how much I LOVE The Container Store. About a year ago, I showed up to the Houston store with a LOOONG list (because I don’t have one near me I don’t get to go often enough…..we need one in Louisiana by the way). The first employee to walk up to me asked if she could help me find anything. When I showed her my list, she immediately went to get another cart and started taking me all over the store getting everything I needed on my list….no questions asked. She was the BEST personal shopper ever. She even stayed with me (and my 2 carts) until I finished checking out. Once finished, another employee helped me get it all into my car, which was interesting to say the least and not easy. But everyone there was not only helpful but very patient. The Container Store is pure happiness!

A couple weeks ago I was at the Edina, MN store and had a lovely salesperson (Brette) help me plan a desk/wall unit. She had awesome suggestions and I left with a blue-print of what the desk would look like.

And what do you know, the shelving went on sale! I went in and made some minor changes with my electronically stored blue-print plan and “walla” – was on my way home with my new Elfa desk shelving.

It was super easy to install and I’ve changed the shelves around a couple time – thank goodness for this great product.

I’ll definatly will be a regular at The Container Store!

I have always had excellent service from employees at The Container Store in Cincinnati. They aren’t afraid to ask if they can help, and have several ideas for each situation. But my favorite was the day I had been in the store for over an hour, and an employee asked if he could help me find anything. I said, “Yes, a coke machine!” He smiled and said, “There is one in the break room. I can go get you one.” I didn’t ask him to get me one, but I was touched by the friendliness and willingness to go “above and beyond”. The Container Store service rates an A+!

Traveling is extremely challenging when you are trying to reduce costs. Two teenagers and two adults seem to require a lot of “stuff” in order to travel and visit family. We needed to reduce the number of suitcases we brought without resorting to buying much larger suitcases. One of the wonderful associates at the Brentwood, MO store overheard my daughter and I discussing this problem. He showed us how the travel packing bags worked – pack all our clothing and reduce the air in the bag resulting in about half the space used! And we didn’t have to use a vacuum cleaner to accomplish our task! He helped us determine the size and number of bags we would need. We have used the bags numerous times now. They have more than paid for themselves in saved baggage fees and in the number of times we’ve used them. No high pressure in sales – just help in solving our problem. Love The Container Store’s staff!!!!

They were even nice enough to load it in the car for the 10 hr drive home. Can’t wait to go back at the end of the month. This has to be my new most favorite store. A very nice salesperson noticed us looking and mentioned that there were some Elfa display units for sale up front. It was perfect! Just the size she needed at a price she could afford. When my husband and I decided to get pour first Elfa closet system, the employees at the Cincinnati store were wonderful. While we waited for all the pieces, one of them went through all the installation with my husband and offered tips that really made the job easier. We love our closet so much that we’ll be putting an Elfa into another closet when they are on sale in December.
I tell everyone about the Container Store. It’s worth an hour’s drive to go there (although I wish we had one closer in Dayton, OH).

We worked with Joy in the San Jose, California store. She was patient, knowledgeable, detailed and price conscience. Her experience came into play helping us fine-tune designs of our closets. We had 3 closets and 2 rooms for her to go through. She knew exactly how to expand the usable space by swapping out the right pieces and save money by avoiding custom cuts. We couldn’t be happier working with her. We have recently moved and hope we can work with her again as we re-design our new closets. We are definitely repeated customers for life!!!

I have never had a disappointing experience at any of your locations, but the service at your Chestnut Hill store always exceeds my expectations! My husband and I stopped in recently on a whim, and decided to check out options for helping to organize the nursery we are putting together for our first child, who we are expecting in December. The closet has been of particular concern, and we weren’t really sure where to start. We were greeted at the door with a smile and headed back to the Elfa section. A fantastic salesman offered to give us a tour of the products and was so helpful in explaining how many different options we had, without them seeming so overwhelming! He took the time to give suggestions, as well as ask questions about what we were thinking we might need and when. Unfortunately we didn’t have the exact closet measurements with us to get down to specifics, but your employee set us up with an appointment to come back and get started. I can’t tell you how much of a weight this has lifted off my shoulders. As a first time expecting mom having to worry about one less thing is really a gift, and working with a sales person who seems genuinely concerned and interested in our needs had us sold before we even knew all the product details!

As a general rule I feel like customer service is dead in the modern world…. With the exception of the container store! We drive from Oklahoma City all the way down to Dallas in order to shop at The Container Store, and a huge part of the reason we do that is because of the pleasant experience of shopping there! It’s so obvious that your employees enjoy their jobs… I’ve honestly never come across a friendlier and more helpful group of people! Honestly! I went to the Cherry Hill, NJ store to look into an ELFA system. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, what I needed or how to figure it all out. The staff there was great! They talked me through each step, showed me different options and treated me like I was their number one customer. I had told them that I wouldn’t be purchasing that day. I was just investigating so I would know the cost and what it would take to install it. They STILL spent all the time it took to make me comfortable and never made me feel as if I was wasting their time. Too many places abandon you if they think you are not going to buy at that exact minute. I send everyone I know there!

I can’t really give you one customer service story, but I can tell you that every time I shop at the Container Store I have the best experience! It is such a treat to go to the store. I always make sure I am alone, so that no one rushes my experience. I like to look at EVERYTHING! And then after I look I normally go through some of the aisles again, because I have missed something. I happily go to the customer service counter where I am greeted with a great smile from the sales people, who ask me “did you find everything okay?” ABSOLUTELY!! AND MORE!! Thank you!

I love The Container Store and have always had wonderful customer service with every visit….now if there was just a store in Richmond, VA!

All the people who work at the Container Store in San Antonio are great. Very reliable, patient and smiling.
I had a great experience with one employee in particular, named Mike G.I found out there are three Mike’s working there. That is funny. Mike G not only found a solution to a storage problem that I had been working on for a couple of years, but did it like it was for his own house.And he got me smiling and feeling pretty good when I was pretty grouchy when I first got there.I had been to Home Depot, Office Depot, and a few other places more than once trying to figure out what to do with this weird-shaped area off the den. I wanted storage for my collections, but it had to look right, too. I am pretty picky, too. I was ready to give up when I went to the Container Store. I thought they wouldn’t have anything quite as specific as I needed. And I would have walked right by it, if this guy hadn’t read my mind first. I’m looking for another project and will call in advance and make sure that Mike G is working. Love that place!

A few weeks ago I went to my local store and wanted to buy a large number of very large drawer bins. One woman working helped us find exactly what we wanted and ran to get a dolly since they were too big for more than one to fit on a a shopping cart. Another helped us get them out to the car and into the trunk and back. Thank you.

On the 4th of July, while driving across Texas (from East Texas to Amarillo in the panhandle) I programmed my GPS to allow me to stop by the Southlake store. Stacey helped me with my Garage ELFA purchase. I took down old crappy shelves (u-brackets with planks) and after repairing and painting the garage walls a pretty white I installed the Elfa. It is BEAUTIFUL!!!

I’ve been back to the Southlake store once since then (on another trip across the state) and got the same great service. I absolutely LOVE your store!!! I really appreciate how helpful everyone is!! GREAT store! I still wish you had a store closer than 6 hours away!

I was just in the Edina/Bloomington store off of France Ave in MN. It was a great experience. The salesman was so very friendly and helpful. He helped me with freezer containers, back to school items, and even laundry aides. We laughed at and with each other then whole time. I will for certain be back at this store in the near future. My little one has OCDs. We were shopping one day for a garbage can. An employee was an aisle over and overheard my little one and I talking about the various trash cans. With his OCD it’s a painstaking process as well as the huge amount of reassurance he needs. The employee approached Robby with a pig trash can making pig sounds and with a funny voice was “introducing” himself as Mr. Pig who doesn’t want to be such a piggy anymore! Mr. Pig told my son he thought that if he went home with him that my son could help him clean up so there would be no garbage around. It was sweet of this employee to do that. My son told Mr. Pig that he was a good cleaner and would help him to keep the room clean. purchase made with no anxiety and he was happy to take Mr. Pig home!

The staff at The Container Store near the Easton Mall in Columbus, are so friendly and helpful. You are always greeted when you walk in the door, but don’t follow you around right at your heals. They really listen and try to help you find the perfect product.

We have been big fans of Elfa since we bought our 90 year old house 23 years ago. It maximized our space in our teeny tiny 1920′s closets. We used Elfa for organizing our kids rooms. We renovated our house 2 years ago and were able to re purpose all our Elfa. We now have bigger closets – but thanks to Elfa its all organized perfectly. We now have a laundry room and pantry, due to the flexibility of the product it worked perfectly. We love the staff at the Galleria and Northpark – who are always willing to help build a new plan with all our existing supplies. It often means no sale for the store – but everyone always treats us like we are their favorite customer. I love the flexibility of the product and the great staff/support that comes with the product.

I have gone to the Container Store near the Easton Mall in Columbus, and the staff have always been so helpful, and friendly. I also appreciate the fact that they greet you when you walk in the door, but are not pushy and are right on your heals. Love the store and the staff help with that experience.

I love, love, love Elfa and the amazing service your Elfa designers offer. How do you consistently find such great people? I’ve been to your stores in Natick & Chestnut Hill, MA as well as Tyson’s Corner and Clarendon, VA and so appreciate that, every time, it’s been a top notch experience. Plus, I love that my red bags are always full of everything I need – not a single piece missing. Container Store is just amazing!

My dad loves wine and has a growing collection – but was running out of space to store them. Several months ago, he happened to see a Container Store catalog featuring the InterMetro(R) wine shelves and made a comment about what a cool idea it was.
His birthday was coming up, so my mom, sisters, and I knew exactly what to get him! We made a trip to the Cherry Hill, NJ Container Store – and found the wine shelves but had no idea where to go from there. One of the sales associates spent almost 45 minutes with us, helping us figure out how many shelves to buy and how to configure them. She even drew a diagram so my mom could visualize how it would look all put together!
We made the purchase (along with several other items – because we had to do some shopping for ourselves too!) – and drove home to put everything together for my dad.
Needless to say, he LOVES his new wine rack — customized just for him (with the help of a great Container Store sales associate!)

About a month ago at your Rockville, MD location I was looking for one of those clear plastic organizers for my home makeup counter and your reps not only found it for me, but fast. I wish I remembered the employee’s name because they were so helpful. Not to mention, the store was clean and well laid out, it was very easy to find the other things on my list. I will be back.

My husband and I had a great experience the other day at the Costa Mesa Container Store with Julie B. She helped us put together a great Elfin closet organizer design and gave us some great tips on making it cost efficient, as well as super functional. We walked away with a design in our hand, as well as all the information we needed to get our closet project going. Julie was very helpful and very attentive, without any pressure. Thanks Julie B for your great service and thanks for the follow up phone call a couple weeks later!!

I asked some questions and was directed to where I needed to be. I do not have alot of money but I am in need of massive organization items. They helped me with a starter pack of items and lots of free advice. I left the store feeling good about myself that I can do this and felt good about my purchases.

We visited the Container Store at the Flatirons Mall in Broomfield, Colorado a couple of months ago and really every single employee we encountered were so friendly and so helpful. They took the time to answer our questions and seemed so interested in us as a person and not just a customer who might buy something. We felt like we were part of their group/team and not just a customer. We were invited to listen to a demonstration and it was just so interactive that it was fun. We definitely love going to this particular store and will probably not shop at any other Container Store around. Thank you to their store for the best hospitality we have encountered in quite some time.

I was recently at the Kenwood, Ohio store. I had looked online prior to my visit, knowing exactly what I had wanted. Their staff was extremely helpful taking me to exactly what was on my list. Then, upon checking out, the line was started to get longer and one associate invited me over to another register to checkout even faster. Not that I could have spent most of the day there looking at absolutely everything, my visit was very quick because of the excellent employees that work there. I really wish I had their names just to acknowledge those indiviuals. I have to drive more than an hour to go there or else I would be there more often. Please come to the DAYTON,OHIO area too!

I have always received the BEST customer service from the Container Store in Austin, Texas. They are always more than willing to help me out. If I order something wrong, or end up making it more complicated than it needs to be, they will always let me know that there’s an easier/better/less expensive way to accomplish what I want and still have everything looking fabulous! I will ALWAYS shop for all my container needs at the Container Store!

I love the service at the store in Arlington, Virginia. On the first night of the shelving sale, I went in to have a closet designed. There was no pressure at all to make a decision on the spot or to hurry with the planning process. Maria helped me create two versions of a closet. I took everything home, re-measured to be sure, called in with one change and placed the order. On Saturday, I picked up everything in less than 30 minutes (which included a quick lap around the store to pick up a few things). It was easy, stress-free, and fun. My husband and I installed everything ourselves and we really appreciated the directions tailored to our space and the online videos. We are very happy Container Store shoppers!

I had heard of the Container Store, but got my first visit on 9/2 in Indianapolis. As a sales manager, I constantly am frustrated with the salespeople in stores, and how they ask “Can I help you find something”, and then just leave, instead of actually “selling”. I was in just to check it out more than anything, but a young female was very quick to show me some new pieces that I just HAD to have! She didn’t accept my “just looking” spiel, and I ended up with some storage for my basement that is perfect!

I had kind of strange request when I went to the Ft Worth store, I was looking for a container to carry a mask with feathers on an airplane. The lady that helped me was willing and able to find the perfect box that didnt weigh too much and was just the right size, so we were able to take a part of a costume,the mask, in luggage on an airplane and it arrived without any breakage!!..thanks so much for a knowledgeable and friendly person on your staff!! sincerely Jane Hill

I went into the store in Lone Tree, Colorado not sure what I was looking for. “You see I saw this thing that holds canisters. I think it was wire, but it could have been plasticy… you have anything that remotely resembles this idea?”

And wouldn’t you know it, the woman knew exactly what I was talking about and showed me right to it. And found the canisters for me.

In December I was searching your Cherry Hill, NJ store for something my three nieces could use to carry home their decorated gingerbread houses. One of your sales associates made it her mission to help me find something that would work. She spent about 20 minutes with me and we came up short. She was just as bummed as I was. I thanked her but told her I didn’t want to monopolize her time. She went on to help someone else while I finished my shopping. About 10 minutes later, she called out to me and came running with a container that was a perfect fit. I was thrilled. Another associate had the great idea of letting the girls decorate the white carrying boxes, which they did, too!

The Container Store in Charlotte has some of the most enthusiastic, customer-service oriented employees that I have ever met. I was greeted and thanked for coming to the Container Store as soon as I entered. When I commented that I was thrilled at having a Container Store in Charlotte, having been missing the one in Dallas prior to moving here, the employee immediately struck up a conversation talking about the original Container Store. Having grown up in Dallas, I felt like I was back home. Kudos!!

They know exactly where to find what I’m looking for even if it’s just a description, I’ve had a closet designed by your Elfa people and I honestly don’t have enough good words to say about your employees, they are fabulous!

I live in Cleveland and take road trips to Columbus just to go to your store. I went there on the very first day it opened several years ago, and every trip I make is filled with fun and excitement. I love being organized, and you have products I just cant find anywhere else. I am also a design junkie, and truly appreciate your store’s layout and visual merchandising. Finally, I have a HUGE love of gift wrap, and drive down every winter to purchase coordinated Christmas paper. My last trip was on September 3rd, and I actually went to the store as soon as I got to Easton, and then went back for another purchase before I hit the road back to Cleveland. On my 2nd visit, I chatted with the cashier, who, as it turns out, is from my hometown. She was so very nice, and told me what a great place your company is to work for. If you ever open in Cleveland, I will SERIOUSLY consider taking a part-time job there, just to feed my soul’s needs for organization, design, and of course, gift wrap!! Rock on!!!

My husband and I stopped in at the Crabtree Valley store in Raleigh one Saturday afternoon. I believe it was Aug 6. We went in for scented shelving paper and decided to walk around since we had never been in The Container Store. We happened on some shelving and were talking about hanging some shelves above our desk in our computer room to try to tame some of the paper monsters that live there. Patty came up to us and we told her what we were thinking of. After a bit of discussion, she took us over to the desk/shelving section and showed us different options we had never thought of. She also gave us two catalogs for ideas and pricing. Never once did we feel pressured to make a decision but felt totally comfortable asking questions. We are now in the process of deciding the best set up for us. Patty was absolutely great. Other employees also spoke and offered help once we continued just looking at all The Container Store has to offer. The best retail employees I’ve encountered in a long time. Thanks for a wonderful experience..

I looked everywhere online to see if I could buy some replacements when I finally emailed customer service asking where I could find some. Lisa W. emailed me back promptly and told me that if I sent my mailing address, the container store would send some my way. I was expecting to be directed to my local store to purchase replacements so I was really surprised. Plus, the fact that the Container Store paid for postage as well really impressed me. You’ve earned a lifetime customer…it truly is the small stuff that makes a big impact on your customers shopping experience. Thanks so much!
