We recently blogged about how we helped organize the office and distribution center of the wonderful Dallas-based nonprofit organization, Akola Project.
Akola Project founder Brittany Merrill Underwood recently joined our Co-Founder and Chairman, Kip, at the Concordia Summit in New York, where they discussed Conscious Capitalism – the practice of creating great value for all of an organization’s stakeholders – simultaneously – in order to make the world and the world of business a better place.
While both leaders believe in running their businesses the same way, Akola Project and The Container Store couldn’t be more different…one a small, privately-held company with a very distinct social mission and the other a large, publicly-traded for-profit company.
Watch Kip and Brittany’s conversation to hear more about how each are implementing the tenets of Conscious Capitalism in different ways throughout their organizations.
